the Local trainS

hahhh.. this has to be one hell of a post.. m sure most of u wud be waitin for this one to come up sometime soon...well, here's my experience wit the same..

this is one wonder on this planet - the Mumbai Local Trains..

its lyk this bottle full of water which has just one exit and entry.. as soon as the train stops, the water (metaphor for the people in the train) comes rushin out of the compartment thru the tiniest of spaces.. and the water outside, moves in to occupy tat space..

one hell of an experience.. i was laughin seein this whole process happen.. and this happens in a minute or so.. its funny.. how the people enter and exit this bottle full of water errr ppl..

and then.. wit all this crowd and the summers.. u get so worked up inside the compartment cus of the heat and the smell.. u can't stand it..

u hav stand near the rite ppl at the rite time otherwise u can be pushed by the crowd and thrown down at the wrong station.. then dood! wait for the next local to pick u up from the station..

u have to experience it and live it..

for me.. this is gonna be lyf in a day from now.. LOCAL TRAINS .. i'm comin!!

Accomodation ...

yes, so its the search for a home which is drivin me CraZee ...

And, believe me guys, its a hell of a job.. lotsa runnin around and lotsa searching..

since my office is near Mahim, I was looking for an accomodation near that place... Bandra, Mahim, Parel, Dadar, Andheri(w) etc etc.. and discovered some awesome stuff!!

I started by postin on a networkin website for the accomodation.. got like 3 replies :-P - not a good score at all.. out of which one was from another female who's also lookin for a shared accomodation in Mumbai.. Shared accomodation cus it is cheaper and you have the freedom to live as u want to, come in wenevah u want to and bring in anyone u want to.. Literally.. PGs suck!!

the other two replies - those houses have already gone.. so no use thinkin abt it..

Shared acomodation is wat i am lookin for, and have tried all possible means to get the leads.. and notin has worked out yet.. except for gettin a roomie :-P

prices are mind blowing.. for 1BHK you would have to pay a minimum of 10K as rent.. electricity, water extra.. with a deposit of 12 months rent!! well well well.. u see, wat i'm talkin abt now..

so then i've decided to stay with my cousin atleast for the next few months.. the distance - will have to jump 3 trains.. almost 1 and a half hour of one way travel.. and in the rains, it wil be all the more messy!! in the bus.. not less that 2 hrs..

this saturday, i'm gonna check out some of the places in Muumbai - and I'm sure its gonna be a f***in two days of home searchin..

for the moment.. lemme get bac to long - distance home searchin :-P

I'm startin a new chapter of ma LYF .. in MuMBai ..

Mumbai, as most of you know, is on the west coast of India and quite popular among the younger generations of the country for its lifestyle, pubs, discs and the BollyWood.

The very thot of going to MuMBai drives me CraZee ..
crazee for I'l be livin alone..
crazee for it wil be ma LYF..
and yes.. the dream of movin to the city by June this Year is fulfiled.

But.. dreams in MuMBai are fulfilled only wen u get the rite accomodation
